To fill the gap before the album one of her newest and most timely songs, “Bake Sale for NASA”, was released as a stand-alone single to spread the message of the importance of funding NASA and to promote and support the Space Tweep Society, a group of space enthusiasts from around the world who have met through Twitter, of which she is an active member. "Bake Sale for NASA" got a very warm reception, even hitting the top 1200 on the Amazon overall mp3 charts for the day after it was released (quite a feat for a new artist with only word-of-mouth promotion). Accepted into the internet music festival Geek Pop on the strength of that song and needing a couple more to submit, CraftLass returned to the same engineer, Dave Entwistle, to record and the EP Above the Sky sprang into a slightly larger being. After a hiatus of several years, CraftLass has been slowly starting to perform live again, including the incredible chance to play at the Astronaut Hall of Fame for the Yuri's Night Space Coast Party 2010 for hundreds of people.
